Another week, another viral SCA moment from the skies above Las Vegas... This time, starring a fearless young flyer who shrugged off 8G's like it was nothing.
At ten years old, he doesn’t flinch, doesn’t fold… just grits his teeth, powers through the maneuver, and finishes with a smile like a kid who just conquered Space Mountain.
The cockpit camera doesn’t lie. The kid’s a natural.
This latest in-flight moment has taken off on Facebook, already racking up 2.7 million views, a tidal wave of comments, and one very clear takeaway: kids might just be built different.
But why do these pint-sized passengers seem to handle extreme G-forces better than full-grown adults?
Let’s break it down. But first, you've gotta see this video...
"That kid handled 8G's like he was going down a playground slide."
- @koltenkollaja
"Now... you guys go to YouTube search for the grown man passenger pulling 8G, he passed out!! This kid's really the beast here...😂 He can pull the Gs like nothing happened, didn't pass out
😆🔥🔥"
- @HinavaVakash
"I wonder if a smaller body might make tolerating G forces easier? Either way that kid is way tougher than me. I’d pass out at half that."
- @MasenFitch
If 2.7 million people watched this flight, imagine what YOUR story could look like!
Dare to take the controls. Experience the thrill. And who knows—you might just be the next viral sensation.

You’ve probably heard the term “G-force” tossed around before—usually in the context of roller coasters or fighter jets—but what exactly does it mean?
G-force is the pressure your body feels during rapid acceleration, deceleration, or directional change. One “G” is the force of gravity you feel just standing on the ground. So 8Gs? That’s eight times your body weight pressing against you.
And here’s where kids have an edge...
Smaller bodies = shorter blood paths. Less distance for blood to travel means it’s harder for gravity to drain it from the brain.
Lower body mass = less strain. Lighter bodies don’t fight themselves under load the way heavier adults do.
They recover fast. Young nervous systems rebound quickly—and they don’t overthink what’s happening.
Put simply, kids are tiny G-force machines. When you watch them in the cockpit, it’s like their bodies were made for aerial acrobatics.
*Don't forget! If you're planning on bringing your littlest thrill-seekers to SCA, they must weigh at least 80lbs (36kg) to fly!
Yes... and no.
It’s true that adults (especially taller, heavier ones) often feel the effects of G-forces sooner. Blood gets pulled away from the brain, muscles fatigue faster, and if you don’t know how to brace for it—you’re gonna feel it.
But here’s the kicker:
G-force tolerance is trainable.
At Sky Combat Ace, our instructor pilots teach real-life fighter pilot techniques to help civilians handle high G loads like pros. With the right technique, almost anyone can pull 6, 7, or even 8 Gs—and walk away buzzing with adrenaline!
1. Master the 'Hook' Maneuver- a breathing technique used by real fighter pilots.
2.
Tense your core and legs
to keep blood where it belongs.
3.
Stay hydrated
- and eat light before your flight.

Turns out, G-force tolerance isn’t one-size-fits-all. While every body reacts differently, a few key factors can determine how well someone handles those sky-high forces:
Smaller bodies have less mass for gravity to act on, which means blood doesn’t get pulled away from the brain as easily. That might explain why these fearless kids seem to bounce back faster than their adult counterparts.
Strong core muscles and good cardiovascular fitness help stabilize the body under pressure—and a proper “G-strain” (a special breathing and muscle-tensing technique) can make or break your performance during high-G maneuvers.
Like anything extreme, part of the battle is in your head. The more relaxed and ready you are, the better you’ll do. Confidence counts for a lot in the cockpit.
Despite some popular claims floating around online, an official study by the National Institute of Health shows there’s no significant difference between men and women when it comes to G-tolerance. It really comes down to physical conditioning, technique, and individual physiology—not gender.
Bottom Line: Whether you’re a kid, a grown-up, a pro athlete, or just someone looking to tick off a bucket-list thrill, pulling 8 Gs is something anyone can experience with the right guidance—and a bit of grit.

We hear this one a lot. Some people find it hard to believe that they can be at the controls of a $500,000 airplane without any prior training. The reason we can do this is quite simple: All of our aircraft are equipped with dual flight controls, so your highly trained instructor pilot can easily take over the controls in the unlikely event that it becomes necessary. All of our instructors undergo a rigorous training program and are skilled at safely maneuvering aircraft through every kind of unusual attitude and aggravated spin that you can imagine. Our training equips us to handle situations that are far more challenging than anything we might encounter on a typical customer mission. All flights are instructional flights defined under 14 CFR Part 61 of the United States Code and all participants will receive ground and airborne instruction throughout their flight.
In case you still don't believe us, wait till you see your video after the flight! During many maneuvers, you will see your instructor pilot put his hands in the air. So yes, YOU really are flying the plane.
For your comfort and safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride. Height and Weight Restrictions: Weigh between 80lbs (36kg) & 265lbs (120kg) and no taller than 6'6" (201cm)
Safety is our top priority. All flights are conducted by expert aerobatic instructor pilots, and we use the world's most advanced FAA-certified stunt planes to guarantee the highest safety standards. All participants receive thorough safety briefings, and our professional pilots ensure a safe, controlled experience during each flight.
At Sky Combat Ace, we do everything in our power to prevent people from getting airsick. All of our profiles use a building block approach, starting with basic maneuvers and working our way up to more advanced profiles. At any point, we encourage our customers to communicate their comfort level and we are happy to take a break between maneuvers to give your stomach a chance to catch up.
It is a common misconception that you should fly on an empty stomach. The truth is that you should adhere to your normal habit patterns. While it may not be advisable to eat a breakfast buffet just before your flight, you should have something in your stomach, perhaps a light breakfast, such as cereal or some fruit. Though you should always stay hydrated, it is probably a good idea to stay away from alcohol before an aerobatic flight.
We also encourage customers to do as much flying as possible during the flight. The more you immerse yourself in the experience, the less likely you are to get sick. Incidentally, the most common cause of airsickness at Sky Combat Ace is due to hangovers. We know you like to party, but try to hit the sack early the day prior to your Sky Combat Ace adventure!
If you feel that you are susceptible to motion sickness, we recommend a Dramamine tablet the night prior and another one 1 to 2 hours before your flight.
In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we don't bundle videos or photos into the price of your experience. We offer a variety of professionally-edited photo and video packages for purchase on the day, starting at $50 per person.
Due to FAA rules and regulations, we cannot bring unapproved cameras on SCA flights. Our custom-built mounts and cameras have been tested to withstand the rigors of unlimited aerobatics for your safety. But don't worry, we'll be recording every moment of the action with 4 onboard cameras! We offer a variety of professionally-edited photo and video packages for purchase so you can relive your adventure and show your friends!
Mia, our VIP Group Bookings Concierge, is looking forward to answering your questions and tailoring the ultimate adventure day for your group!
